Step 1: Acclimation

This is an opportunity for us to get to know you, your business, and your books as they currently stand. This provides us with the information and tools we need to suggest the right combination of software to meet your needs. Some of the work that will be done in this step is:

  1. Review current status of books and other documents

  2. Identifying and documenting any existing issues

  3. Correspondence with teammates to get clear ideas of workflows and key responsibilities

  4. Formulate a plan for Cleanup/Setup

Step 2: Clean Up / Setup

Here’s where things start to get really fun! We are going to flip the switch and get you setup with new software and apps or clean up your existing software as best fit your needs. We will also spend time with you making sure you have a good understanding of the new tools you will be using. This is the bulk of what will be done during the setup /clean up time:

  1. Perform tasks that need to be done before transitioning accounting to new software

  2. Set up of Software

  3. Full software training for up to 1 hour

Step 3: Catch-up

This can be the most time consuming part of the process but also very satisfying and rewarding. We will go through your books and make sure that all reconciliations are complete through the end of the last completed month. Depending on where you are this can be just a couple months or a year.
